Central Scotland Location

Centrally located within the heart of Scotland, our properties are about one and a half hours by car from Edinburgh and Glasgow and within a couple of hours of Inverness and the famous Loch Ness.

We are an hour by car away from the closest ski resort of Glencoe and a couple of hours away from Oban, the perfect destination to explore the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. So whether you wish to visit us after work for a short weekend break or use our properties as a base to explore more of Scotland, our location is well suited and central, as well as being very accessible, throughout the year.

Local wildlife and wildlife parks

Our local residents at Craggantoul include a wild family of roe deer who wander freely around the estate, as well as a cheeky family of pheasants, red squirrels and a whole variety of other birdlife including the magnificent birds of prey. At our properties at the River Lochay and Ardeonaig, watch out for the otters playing in the waters and the local ducks and geese. Luxury hot tubs

Many of our properties enjoy luxurious private outdoor hot tubs with lovely views, operational throughout the year.
Whether you are looking to relax your muscles after a day on the hills or simply wish to kick back and soak in the bubbles whilst taking in the beautiful views, our hot tubs provide a wonderful way to enjoy the magnificent surroundings.

Fishing

Loch Tay is well known for some of the best fishing in the world, and our properties on the shores of Loch Tay and the River Lochay come with fishing rights for our guests to take advantage of.
Whether this be for salmon or trout, come and try your hand at fishing whilst taking in some of the most majestic and beautiful scenery in Scotland.

Golfing breaks

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to golf at Loch Tay, with many wonderful nine and eighteen hole golf courses all set amidst wonderful scenery and located conveniently for our guests in Killin, Kenmore and Aberfeldy.

The Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve

There are plenty of opportunities for hill walking near our properties. The Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve (NNR) includes 9 mountains in the Lawers and Tarmchan ranges and is one of the most important nature conservation sites in the UK.

The Scottish Crannog Centre, Loch Tay

The Scottish Crannog Centre is a wonderful award winning visitor centre on Loch Tay, with a reconstruction of an ancient loch dwelling to show visitors how the Iron Age loch-dwellers lived and worked many thousands of years ago. One of our own properties on the outskirts of Killin is named after this property.

Water Sports

If you want to get wet while you are with us, there are two water sports centres at Loch Tay which can offer boating and a whole host of water sports, plus an organisation near Aberfeldy which runs canyoning, kayaking, river bugging and river duckies on the River Tay!

Other Tourist Attractions

There is a wealth of tourist attractions in the vicinity for day trips, including Dewars World of Whisky in Aberfeldy, Castle Menzies and Blair Castle and the ‘Harrods of the North’, House of Bruar! We look forward to welcoming you to discover this wonderful part of the world!

Come and visit our luxury Swiss chalets in the village of Nendaz, in the heart of the 4 Valleys which are available to rent throughout the year. With stunning views and access to some of the greatest ski slopes in the world in Verbier, Thyon and Veysonnaz as well as in Nendaz itself, these properties are within a few minutes’ walk of the closest bars, restaurants and supermarkets and the luxury spa complex. In the summer months, there are village markets and festivals, mountain biking, bisse walks in the mountains, tennis and swimming in the village pool and much more……
